My Prompts

A personal library of reusable prompt templates you can insert into any Writer Tool screen with one click.

Overview

My Prompts stores short, reusable text templates — house style guides, recurring instructions, brand voice reminders, or any prompt fragment you find yourself typing repeatedly. Every Writer Tool screen (Blog Writer, Essay Writer, Article Writer, Storyteller, Anime Writer, Scenario Writer, Smart Rewriter) has an Insert Prompt button that opens this library and inserts the selected prompt's body into the screen's main text field.

Creating a Prompt

Name

A short label so you can recognize the prompt in the Insert Prompt dropdown later.

Category

Optional free-text grouping (e.g. "SEO", "Tone", "Brand Voice") — used to filter your library and shown as a badge on each card.

Body

The actual prompt text that gets inserted. Can be a single instruction or several paragraphs of context.

Using a Prompt

  • Open any Writer Tool screen and click Insert Prompt above the main text field.
  • Pick a prompt from the dropdown — its body is appended to whatever text is already in the field.
  • Edit the inserted text as needed before generating.

From the My Prompts screen itself, each card also has a Copy button to copy the prompt body to your clipboard for use anywhere outside TotalApp.

Organizing Your Library

Use the search box to filter by name or body text, and the category dropdown (shown once you have at least one categorized prompt) to narrow the list to a single category. Prompts are displayed as cards in a responsive grid, each showing name, category badge, a preview of the body, and Copy / Edit / Delete actions.

FAQ

Is my prompt library shared across all Writer Tools?
Yes. Every prompt you save here is available from the Insert Prompt button on every Writer Tool screen — no need to recreate anything per screen.
Does inserting a prompt replace what I've already typed?
No. The prompt's body is appended after your existing text (separated by a blank line), never replaces it.
Can I use prompts outside of TotalApp?
Yes — use the Copy button on any prompt card to copy its body to your clipboard for use anywhere.
