The Ecommerce Operations add-on: catalog, order fulfillment, returns, pricing and marketplace channel sync.

Module Overview

The Ecommerce Operations add-on (package id ecommerce, domain ECOMMERCE) is a wired, purchasable package gated by a tenant entitlement and per-user Ecommerce Operations roles.

Embedded AI Assistant on Order Routing

The three Order Routing screens — Central Order Router, Fulfillment Rules and Return & RMA Tracking — each carry an embedded AI Assistant panel on the right edge. Tick rows (orders, rules or returns) and the assistant receives exactly those records by id and key fields; with nothing ticked it works on the whole list. The lists are paginated.

Answers can be saved with Save as Report (they appear in Ecommerce Reports) and Add Knowledge lets you attach your own reference text. The assistant follows the engine selected in Settings → Agentic, so with Ollama, Local LLM or Web LLM nothing reaches the server.

Secure Customer Data & Partner Sharing

Beyond catalog, order and customer operations, the add-on protects the files they rely on: encrypted, role-based access to customer and order records, sensitive-data masking, watermarking and audit trails, secure mobile access, and OTP-protected, approved sharing of catalogs, invoices and returns with partners. Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to use the Ecommerce Operations add-on?
The tenant must have the ecommerce package activated and your user must hold a Ecommerce Operations domain role. See Domain Roles & Capabilities.
Can a Ecommerce Operations user see other add-ons’ data?
No. A Ecommerce Operations role exposes only ECOMMERCE and GLOBAL capabilities.
Where is this add-on’s data stored?
Under the tenant’s per-module folder on the server (roles in roles/roles.json).
Is it available out of the box?
Yes — ecommerce is a wired package; a tenant admin activates it and the seeded roles install on first open.
