Password Recovery

Regain access to your TotalApp account quickly and securely by resetting your password through the login screen.

Resetting Your Password

If you have forgotten your password or can no longer sign in, use the self-service reset flow available directly from the login page. No support ticket is required.

  1. Go to app.totalapp.app and click Sign In
  2. Click Forgot password? below the password field
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Send reset link
  4. Open the email from noreply@totalapp.app — it arrives within a few minutes
  5. Click Reset my password in the email — the link is valid for 1 hour
  6. Enter and confirm your new password on the reset page, then click Save new password
  7. You are signed in automatically once the password is saved

Tip — Google accounts

If you signed up using Continue with Google, your password is managed by Google — not TotalApp. Use the Forgot password? flow on your Google account page, then return to TotalApp and sign in with Google as normal.

Troubleshooting

If you do not receive the reset email within 5 minutes, try the following steps:

Check Spam & Junk

Email filters sometimes flag automated messages. Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders. Add noreply@totalapp.app to your allow-list to prevent future filtering.

Verify Your Email

Make sure you are entering the exact email address you used to register. Typos or an old work address are the most common reason reset emails are not received.

Request Again

You can submit the Forgot password? form multiple times. Only the most recently issued link is valid — clicking an older link in your inbox will show an "expired" error.

Contact Support

If you still cannot access your account after trying the steps above, contact support@totalapp.app with your account email address and we will assist you manually.

Security Notice

TotalApp will never send an unsolicited password reset email. If you receive a reset email that you did not request, do not click any links. Your account may be the target of an unauthorised access attempt. Go to Settings → Security → Active Sessions to review any unfamiliar logins and change your password immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the password reset link valid?
The link sent to your email is valid for 1 hour from the moment you request it. If it expires before you use it, simply submit the Forgot password? form again from the login page — only the most recently issued link will work, so always use the newest email you receive.
I signed up with Google — why doesn't the reset link work for me?
If your account was created with Continue with Google, TotalApp does not store a password for it — authentication is handled entirely by Google. In this case, use Google's own "Forgot password?" flow on your Google account page to reset your Google password, then come back to TotalApp and sign in again with Continue with Google.
Can I request more than one reset email?
Yes. You can submit the Forgot password? form as many times as needed. Each request issues a new link and immediately invalidates any earlier ones, so if you click an older email after requesting a new one you'll see an "expired" error — always use the link from the most recent email.
What should I do if I get a reset email I didn't ask for?
Do not click any links in it. TotalApp never sends unsolicited password reset emails, so an unexpected one may indicate someone else is trying to access your account. Go to Settings → Security → Active Sessions to check for unfamiliar logins and change your password immediately as a precaution.
