Industry Specific Agents go a level deeper: each one is a Domain Execution Agent built for one sector's real, specialist work — reviewed with practitioners from that field so its judgment reflects actual domain knowledge, not a generic prompt.
What Is an Industry Specific Agent?
TotalApp's AI Assistant panel is already present across the platform's screens, and it keeps expanding — some panels are fully live today, others are still being built out. Industry Specific Agents are a distinct, higher tier above that general assistant layer. Instead of offering broad, cross-domain help, each one is a Domain Execution Agent: a focused specialist that reasons the way an experienced professional in that field would, over the specific documents, records, and regulatory context that field actually works with.
Built with the people who do the job
Each Industry Specific Agent is engineering plus domain science, not one or the other. The reasoning behind every agent is developed by consulting real subject-matter experts in that field — a construction quantity surveyor, a litigation paralegal, a customs broker, a clinical billing specialist — so the agent's judgment reflects how that work is actually done, not a best guess at it.
Because of that, Industry Specific Agents are substantial undertakings. Each one represents real engineering effort layered with real domain research, so agents are added deliberately, sector by sector, rather than all at once.
The Domain Execution Agent Pattern
Every Industry Specific Agent follows the same architecture, regardless of sector:
Reads the right documents
Each agent understands the document types native to its field — quantity schedules, progress-payment forms, court filings, insurance claims, customs declarations, clinical billing records — and works with them in their real shape, not a generic file upload.
Applies domain rules
Where a sector has its own regulations, tariff codes, statutes, or reporting standards, the agent checks against them directly — deviations, missing compliance items, and risky clauses are the kind of thing a domain expert would flag, and the agent is built to flag them the same way.
Surfaces what needs a human
An agent's output is a structured finding — a flagged discrepancy, a risk level, a missing item — handed back to the person responsible for that record. The agent narrows down what deserves attention; the decision stays with the professional.

Availability
Industry Specific Agents are rolled out incrementally, the same way the platform's AI Assistant panels are. Some of the agents above are already reasoning over live tenant data inside their add-on; others are still in active development. Each agent's own documentation page — as it ships — states exactly which of its capabilities are live today.
Why this takes longer than a typical screen
A standard screen ships once its UI and data model are done. An Industry Specific Agent additionally needs its domain logic validated against real-world practice in that field, which is why these agents are built one at a time, in consultation with practitioners, rather than shipped as a batch.
