AI Assistant — HS Code Catalog

The HS Code Catalog screen ships with an embedded AI Assistant — the same right-edge panel used across TotalApp. Open it from the vertical AI Assistant tab on the right of the screen; it understands what is currently on your screen and answers in Markdown, matching the language you write in (Turkish or English).

Because tariff classification errors compound into duty overpayments, customs delays, and audit exposure, the assistant is tuned for catalog data-quality review:

  • Duty-load anomalies — flag codes whose duty rate looks unusually high or low for their product category.
  • Duplicate & near-duplicate codes — surface codes that describe overlapping or near-identical goods.
  • Missing permits — highlight codes that require a regulatory permit but have none recorded.
  • Deprecated / under-revision cleanup — point out codes marked deprecated or pending revision that are still in active use.
  • Classification guidance — suggest which catalog entry best fits a product you describe.

Tick one or more rows in the table to scope the conversation, then use Analyze selected or Summarize selected. Any answer can be saved via Save as Report (it lands in My Reports), and Add Knowledge lets you attach reference documents to ground the reply.

The assistant respects your Settings → Agentic writer engine: Ollama / local-LLM / in-browser models run entirely on your machine, while API routes through the server — the panel never leaks your data to a server the selected engine can’t reach.

AI Assistant — Incoterms & Delivery Rules

The Incoterms & Delivery Rules screen ships with an embedded AI Assistant — the same right-edge panel used across TotalApp. Open it from the vertical AI Assistant tab on the right of the screen; it understands what is currently on your screen and answers in Markdown, matching the language you write in (Turkish or English).

Because an Incoterm defines exactly which costs and risks fall on the buyer versus the seller, the assistant is tuned for cost/risk-allocation review:

  • Unusual cost/risk split anomalies — flag rules whose cost or risk transfer point looks inconsistent with the stated Incoterm.
  • Custom-variant review — explain how a company-customized rule diverges from the standard Incoterm definition.
  • Applicability guidance — suggest which rule fits a described shipment scenario (mode of transport, named place).
  • Comparison — compare two rules side by side on who pays for what and where risk transfers.

Tick one or more rows in the table to scope the conversation, then use Analyze selected or Summarize selected. Any answer can be saved via Save as Report (it lands in My Reports), and Add Knowledge lets you attach reference documents to ground the reply.

AI Assistant — Customs Brokers & Agencies

The Customs Brokers & Agencies screen ships with an embedded AI Assistant — the same right-edge panel used across TotalApp. Open it from the vertical AI Assistant tab on the right of the screen; it understands what is currently on your screen and answers in Markdown, matching the language you write in (Turkish or English).

Because an unauthorized or overloaded broker can stall a shipment or invalidate a filing, the assistant is tuned for broker compliance and capacity review:

  • Expiring / expired Power of Attorney — flag brokers whose authorization is about to lapse or already has.
  • Invalid e-signatures — surface brokers with an e-signature registration that looks incomplete or invalid.
  • Overloaded brokers — highlight brokers carrying an unusually high active-declaration load compared to peers.
  • Coverage gaps — point out ports or regions with no active broker on file.

AI Assistant — Trade Compliance & Sanctions

The Trade Compliance & Sanctions screen ships with an embedded AI Assistant — the same right-edge panel used across TotalApp. Open it from the vertical AI Assistant tab on the right of the screen; it understands what is currently on your screen and answers in Markdown, matching the language you write in (Turkish or English).

Because a missed sanctions match or an unflagged dual-use item carries real export-control and fraud exposure, the assistant is tuned for restriction and denied-party review:

  • Critical-risk active restrictions — surface currently active restrictions flagged at the highest risk level.
  • Dual-use licensing flags — highlight goods that may require an export license due to dual-use classification.
  • Denied-party pattern review — look for naming or entity patterns across records that resemble known denied-party listings.
  • Expiry tracking — flag restrictions or licenses nearing their expiry date.
