My Meetings
A personal meeting history log built into TotalApp — review past calls, track durations, manage participants, and keep inline meeting notes all in one place.
Overview
My Meetings is your personal log of every video and audio call you have started or participated in through TotalApp Collaboration. Every meeting session is automatically recorded here after the call ends, giving you a searchable history with timestamps, durations, participant lists, and editable notes.
Use My Meetings to look back at who was in a past call, how long it lasted, what was discussed (via notes), and to start a new call with the same group instantly.
Full Meeting History
Every call you start or join is logged automatically — date, time, duration, type (video or audio), channel name, and participant list.
Participant Avatars
Each meeting row shows stacked avatar circles for every participant. Up to four avatars are shown inline; additional participants are indicated by a count badge (+N).
Inline Meeting Notes
Click the notes area on any meeting row to open an editable text area. Type your notes, then save — they are stored in your tenant workspace and available next time you open the screen.
Search & Filter
Search across meeting titles, channel names, and participant display names. Filter by call type (All / Video / Audio) using the quick-filter pills at the top.
Start a New Call
Start a video or audio call directly from My Meetings using the toolbar buttons — no need to navigate elsewhere.
Delete Meetings
Remove individual meetings from your history with a single click. An inline confirmation prevents accidental deletion.
Meeting History Table
The main view is a table listing every recorded meeting. Each row contains the following columns:
| Column | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Meeting | The meeting title and channel name. A icon indicates a video call; a icon indicates an audio-only call. |
| Date | The date and time the meeting started, formatted in your locale. |
| Duration | Total call length shown as hours, minutes, and seconds — e.g. 1h 23m 45s or 8m 30s. Very short calls show only minutes and seconds. |
| Participants | Stacked avatar circles showing participant initials or profile photos. Up to 4 avatars are shown; a +N badge appears when there are more. |
| Notes | An inline, click-to-edit note area. Click to expand a text area, type your notes, and click Save. Previously saved notes are shown in a preview. |
| Actions | A context menu (…) button with Delete and confirm options. |
Tip — Notes Are Persistent
Notes you write in My Meetings are saved to your tenant workspace on the server. They survive page refreshes, log-outs, and browser restarts. Use them as a lightweight meeting log or action-item tracker.
Search & Filter
Two controls help you find specific meetings quickly:
Search input
The search box at the top of the screen searches across:
- Meeting title
- Channel name (the collaboration channel the meeting was held in)
- Participant display names — any participant whose name matches the query brings the meeting into the results
Matching is case-insensitive. Results update in real time as you type.
Type filter pills
Three quick-filter tabs let you narrow the list by call type:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every meeting regardless of type (default). |
| Video | Only meetings that were started as video calls. |
| Audio | Only meetings that were started as audio-only calls. |
The search input and type filter work together — apply both at the same time to narrow results by type and keyword.
Meeting Notes
Each meeting entry has an attached notes field that you can edit directly from the list — no modal or detail page required.
How notes work
- Click to edit — the notes preview collapses into an editable
<textarea>. Start typing immediately. - Save — a Save button appears while editing. Clicking it saves the note to the server.
- Cancel — clicking Cancel or pressing Escape discards unsaved changes and restores the previous note text.
- Empty notes — if a meeting has no notes, the area shows a subtle "Add notes…" placeholder. Click it to start typing.
- Multi-line support — notes can span multiple lines. The text area grows as you type.
Notes Are Per-Meeting
Notes are stored per meeting entry. Each call in your history has its own independent note. There is no global meeting journal — write focused notes for each call while the details are fresh.
Starting a New Meeting
You can start a new call directly from My Meetings without navigating to the Collaboration screen first. Two buttons appear in the screen toolbar:
| Button | Icon | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| Start Audio Call | Starts a new audio-only huddle in the workspace channel and navigates to the Meeting & Huddle screen. | |
| Start Video Call | Starts a new video call in the workspace channel and navigates to the Meeting & Huddle screen. |
Both buttons use the workspace-huddle channel as the default meeting room. After the call ends, the new meeting is automatically added to your My Meetings history the next time you visit the screen or click Refresh.
Tip — Refresh After a Call
My Meetings loads your history on mount. After returning from a call, click the Refresh button in the toolbar to pull in the new meeting record without reloading the page.
Deleting Meetings
To remove a meeting from your history:
- Open the context menu (…) at the right end of the meeting row.
- Click Delete. An inline confirmation appears — "Delete?" with Yes / No buttons.
- Click Yes to permanently remove the meeting, or No to cancel.
Deletion is Permanent
Deleting a meeting entry removes it from your tenant workspace permanently. There is no undo. Any notes attached to the meeting are also deleted. Export or copy important notes before deleting a meeting.
Empty State
If you have not yet participated in any meetings, My Meetings shows an empty state with a calendar icon and two quick-start buttons — Start Audio Call and Start Video Call. Use either button to initiate your first meeting and it will appear in the history when you return.
