Image Generation

Generate, remix, upscale, and analyze images with AI directly inside a workflow.

Overview

The Image Generation group brings AI image creation and editing into a workflow — generate new images from a text prompt, remix or upscale existing images, and analyze image content. Nodes are organized into three sub-categories: Generate, Edit, and Analyze.

Usage Tips

Chain Generate into Edit

A common pattern is Image Generation → Upscale → Reframe, producing a high-resolution image sized for a specific placement in one pipeline run.

Same nodes power Creator Tools

These nodes wrap the same AI image engine used in the standalone Image Creator tool, so results are consistent whether you generate an image inside a workflow or from the Creator Tools screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Remix require an upstream image?
Yes — Remix needs a source image to vary. To generate a brand-new image with no source, use the Image Generation node instead.
Can Describe feed directly into a Document Generation node?
Yes — connect Describe's text output to a Blog Writer or Article Writer node to generate written content based on an image's contents.
