Overview
The Sound Effects service uses AI to generate audio effects that match the visual content of a video. Rather than searching through libraries of pre-recorded sounds, you provide a video (or a text description of a scene), and the AI generates sounds that fit the content — synchronized to the action on screen.
This tool is particularly useful in post-production workflows where placeholder footage needs temporary audio, or where content creators want to add depth and realism to video without licensing sound libraries.

How Sound Effects Generation Works
The generation process follows three stages, whether you provide a video file or use a text description as input.
Video / Scene Analysis: The AI processes the video frame by frame, identifying objects, motion, and events — a car driving, a door closing, rain falling — and builds a timeline of sound events to generate.
Sound Generation: For each detected event, the AI synthesizes an appropriate sound effect, matching the energy, duration, and character of the on-screen action.
Integration & Export: The generated sounds are mixed and exported either as a standalone audio track aligned to the video's timecode or merged directly into the video file.

The AI can generate sounds across 8 primary categories. When using text-to-sound mode, specifying the category helps narrow the output.
