Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if a scheduled post fails to publish?
The post's status changes to Failed on the calendar and list view. This usually means the connected social account's authorization has expired or been revoked. Go to Social Media Connections, reconnect the affected platform, then reschedule or manually retry the post from the Social Scheduler.
Can I schedule the same post to multiple platforms at once?
Yes. When creating a post, select multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok) in the platform picker before scheduling. TotalApp publishes the content to each selected platform automatically at the chosen date and time, and tracks each platform's publish status independently.
How does "Best Time to Post" decide when to recommend?
The AI recommendation looks at your historical audience engagement activity (likes, comments, shares, reach) per platform and suggests time windows where your past posts performed best. You can still override the suggestion and pick any custom date and time when scheduling.
Can I edit or reschedule a post after it's been queued?
Yes, as long as the post is still in Scheduled or Draft status. Open the post from the calendar or list view, update the content, media, platforms, or date/time, and save your changes. Once a post moves to Published, its content can no longer be edited from Social Scheduler — you'll need to edit it directly on the social platform.
