Risk & Quality Control Hub

Risk and issue logs across your projects.

Overview

Risk & Quality Control Hub is the dedicated home for tracking risks and issues that could affect project delivery, separated out from day-to-day task execution so they get their own visibility. Like the other four PM hubs, it presents its sub-screens through a single page with an internal sub-navigation list — selecting an item on the left renders that sub-screen’s content inline, without a full navigation away from the hub.

It is one of the five hubs that make up Project Management’s Hub view mode, alongside Portfolio & Planning, Execution & Workflow, Design & Collaboration, and Analytics. Today it hosts a single sub-screen, and that sub-screen is not yet live — making Risk & Quality Control the smallest and earliest-stage of the five PM hubs.

What's Included

Sub-screenStatusDescription
Risks & IssuesComing SoonA log of project risks and issues, with severity and status tracking (PMRisksIssuesScreen placeholder).

Currently a Single Sub-Screen

Risk & Quality Control Hub currently hosts one sub-screen, Risks & Issues, marked “Soon” as its underlying functionality is still being built. It is structured as its own hub (rather than folded into another one) so that additional quality-control screens can be added here later without restructuring the navigation.

No live sub-screens yet

Opening Risks & Issues today shows a placeholder with a “Soon” badge rather than a functioning risk log. There is currently no equivalent screen anywhere in Project Management — in Hub view or Grid view — for tracking project risks or issues.

A Hub Built to Grow

The hub’s name — Risk & Quality Control — is broader than its current single sub-screen because the intent is for it to expand over time into the kind of risk-and-quality tooling that project management typically needs, such as a fuller risk register or quality checks alongside issue tracking. No specific additional sub-screens are scheduled or built yet; this section simply explains why the hub is scoped and named more broadly than its present-day contents.

Same navigation pattern as the other hubs

Risk & Quality Control Hub only appears in the sidebar in Hub view mode. In Grid view mode, its (not-yet-live) sub-screen would be reachable as its own standalone entry, the same pattern used by the other four PM hubs. See Execution & Workflow Hub for an example of that pattern once sub-screens are fully live.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I open Risk & Quality Control Hub today, what will I see?
A single sub-screen entry, Risks & Issues, carrying a “Soon” badge. Clicking it renders a placeholder rather than a functioning risk log, since the underlying feature has not shipped yet.
Is there a standalone Grid View screen for risks and issues I can use instead?
No. Risks & Issues has not shipped as functioning screen anywhere in TotalApp yet, in either Hub view or Grid view — there is currently no way to log or track project risks and issues inside the app.
Why does the hub call itself “Risk & Quality Control” if it only has a risk/issue log today?
The name reflects where the hub is headed, not just its current contents. It is scoped broadly enough that future quality-control capabilities typical of project management — such as a fuller risk register or quality checks — can be added to it later without needing a new hub or a navigation restructure.
Will Risks & Issues data be shared with any other TotalApp module, like Manufacturing’s Quality Operations?
That has not been built yet, so there is nothing to confirm either way today. Once Risks & Issues ships, its scope and any cross-module relationships will be documented on this page.
Does switching to Grid view mode unlock any additional risk-tracking screens?
No. Grid view mode changes only how existing sub-screens are organized in the sidebar — it does not add functionality that doesn’t already exist. Since Risks & Issues has not shipped in either view mode, switching modes will not reveal a working risk log.
