Analytics Hub

Reports across your projects.

Overview

Analytics Hub is the reporting entry point for Project Management — a single place to review project performance data instead of hunting for it inside individual project screens. Like the other four PM hubs, it presents its sub-screens through a page with an internal sub-navigation list, though today that list has just one entry.

It is one of the five hubs that make up Project Management’s Hub view mode, alongside Portfolio & Planning, Execution & Workflow, Risk & Quality Control, and Design & Collaboration. Its single sub-screen, Reports, is fully live and reuses a component shared across multiple modules rather than a Project-Management-specific report builder.

What's Included

Sub-screenStatusDescription
ReportsLiveMy Reports (MyReports), opened with a context="pm" scope — project-related report widgets and charts.

How It Works

Open Analytics Hub from the sidebar
Reports renders immediately — the hub’s only sub-screen

Reports is fully live and is the exact same MyReports component used elsewhere in TotalApp for reporting, opened here with a context="pm" prop so only project-related report widgets and charts are shown. Because the underlying component is shared, any report-widget capability added to My Reports generally becomes available here too, scoped to project data.

A shared reporting engine, scoped by context

MyReports is used by several TotalApp modules, each passing its own context value so the same report-building experience surfaces module-relevant data. Analytics Hub’s use of context="pm" is what keeps its report widgets project-scoped rather than tenant-wide.

One Sub-Screen Today

Analytics Hub currently hosts a single sub-screen, Reports, which reuses the shared My Reports component scoped specifically to project data (rather than the broader tenant-wide reports view). It is kept as its own hub so additional project-specific analytics can be added without disrupting the other four PM hubs.

Same data, different navigation

Analytics Hub only appears in the sidebar in Hub view mode. In Grid view mode, Reports is reachable directly as its own standalone entry, PM Reports. Switching between the two view modes changes only how the screen is organized in the sidebar — never the underlying report data itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Reports here the same data as the standalone PM Reports screen in Grid View?
Yes — it is literally the same MyReports component with the same context="pm" scope, rendered inline inside the hub rather than as a full top-level screen. There is exactly one set of project reports; Analytics Hub and the Grid View PM Reports entry are simply two different navigation paths to it.
Why does Analytics Hub only have one sub-screen when the other PM hubs have several?
Reporting for Project Management currently lives in a single consolidated reports screen rather than being split across multiple specialized report types. The hub is kept separate from the other four so additional project-specific analytics can be added later without reshuffling navigation elsewhere.
Does “context=pm” mean I only see reports about tasks, or all project data?
The pm context scopes My Reports to project-related widgets and charts generally, not just tasks specifically — the exact set of available report widgets is whatever the shared MyReports component exposes for the pm context, the same set you’d see from the standalone Grid View screen.
If My Reports gains a new widget type, will it automatically appear in Analytics Hub too?
Generally yes, since Analytics Hub renders the shared MyReports component rather than a separate copy — any widget capability added to that component becomes available wherever it’s rendered, including here, as long as it applies to the pm context.
Is there a “Soon” badge on Reports, like the placeholder sub-screens in other PM hubs?
No. Reports is fully live — Analytics Hub currently has no placeholder sub-screens, unlike Portfolio & Planning Hub or Risk & Quality Control Hub, which each still have not-yet-live entries.
