Campaign Settings

Sender Identity

Set your From Name (e.g. "TotalApp Team") and From Email (e.g. noreply@yourcompany.com). Verify your sending domain via DNS records to improve deliverability and avoid spam folders.

Subject Line & Preview Text

The subject line is the first thing recipients see. Use the AI Subject Line Generator for suggestions optimized for open rate. The preview text (shown after the subject in inbox) should complement the subject, not repeat it.

Audience Segment

Send to your full list or a specific segment. Segments can be built by signup date, location, open history, click behavior, purchase value, or any custom field in your subscriber data.

Email Editor Features

  • Drag-and-drop content blocks: text, image, button, divider, spacer, social icons
  • Responsive design preview for desktop and mobile
  • Brand kit integration (auto-apply your colors and fonts)
  • Dynamic merge tags: {{first_name}}, {{company}}, {{offer_code}}
  • Countdown timer blocks for flash sales
  • Product feed blocks (auto-populate from your catalog)
  • Plain text version auto-generated alongside HTML

AI Subject Line Generator

Enter your email topic and key message, and the AI will suggest 5–10 subject line variations optimized for different psychological triggers: curiosity, urgency, social proof, and personalization. Each suggestion includes an estimated open rate lift.

Best Practices

Keep subject lines under 50 characters for mobile. Use numbers and power words. A/B test two versions with 20% of your list before sending to the remaining 80%.

Deliverability & Compliance

CAN-SPAM & GDPR Compliance

Every campaign automatically includes an unsubscribe link and your physical mailing address as required by CAN-SPAM. GDPR double opt-in flows are available for EU subscribers.

Improving Deliverability

  • Verify your sending domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
  • Warm up new sending domains by starting with small batches
  • Clean your list regularly — remove hard bounces and long-inactive subscribers
  • Avoid spam trigger words in subject lines and body copy

Frequently Asked Questions

How many subscribers can I have?
There is no limit on subscriber count. Sending limits depend on your TotalApp plan. Check Settings → Billing for your current plan's monthly send volume.
Can I import subscribers from another ESP?
Yes. Export your list from Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or any other provider as a CSV and import it. Custom fields and tags are preserved.
How does automation work?
Set up trigger-based sequences (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Birthday) in the Automation builder. Each step in the sequence sends automatically when the trigger condition is met.
