Customs & Global Trade — Overview

The Customs add-on: HS code classification, import/export declarations, freight and carrier coordination, and duty/tariff reconciliation.

Module Overview

The Customs & Global Trade add-on brings together the people, master data and daily workflows a trade compliance and logistics team needs to move goods across borders: classifying products under the Harmonized System, filing export and import declarations, screening trade partners for sanctions, tracking shipments through clearance, benchmarking freight rates, and reconciling the duties and tariffs paid on every declaration. It is a wired, purchasable package gated by a tenant entitlement and per-user Customs roles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What roles does the Customs add-on ship with?
Customs Manager, Customs Declarant / Broker Liaison, Compliance Officer and Logistics Coordinator. See Domain Roles & Capabilities.
Who prepares a declaration versus who approves it?
The Customs Declarant / Broker Liaison prepares and submits export and import declarations; the Compliance Officer (or Customs Manager) reviews and approves them, including sanctions and compliance checks.
Can a Customs user see other add-ons' data?
No. A Customs role only exposes Customs and shared platform capabilities — it has no visibility into other add-ons' records.
Is it available out of the box?
Yes — Customs is a wired package; a tenant admin activates it and the seeded roles install on first open.
