Revenue Analytics

Realized revenue from Closed Won deals only — total revenue, average deal size, win rate, and revenue trends by stage.

Overview

Revenue Analytics reports on money actually earned — it looks exclusively at Closed Won deals that are not quotes, giving you a clean picture of realized revenue rather than pipeline potential. Where Sales Pipeline forecasts what might close and Funnel Analytics measures conversion efficiency, Revenue Analytics answers "how much did we actually make, and how."

Closed Won Only

Open deals, lost deals, and unconverted quotes are excluded entirely. Every number on this screen is backed by a deal that has actually closed and won.

Time Range

A pill filter bar — All Time / This Year / This Quarter / This Month — scopes every KPI and chart to deals with a close date inside the selected window.

KPI Cards

Total Revenue
$248K
Avg Deal Size
$12.4K
Win Rate
38%
Deals Won
20
  • Total Revenue — sum of all Closed Won, non-quote deal values in the selected time range.
  • Avg Deal Size — Total Revenue divided by Deals Won.
  • Win Rate — the share of all closed deals (won + lost) in range that ended Closed Won.
  • Deals Won — count of Closed Won, non-quote deals in range.

Charts

Revenue Trend

Won revenue plotted over time within the selected range, so you can spot growth, seasonality, or a slowdown at a glance.

Revenue by Stage (Donut)

A donut chart breaking down won revenue by the pipeline stage the deal passed through last, useful for seeing which stages are contributing the most closed value.

Relationship to Sales Pipeline & Funnel Analytics

All three CRM analytics screens read the same deal data but answer different questions:

  • Sales Pipeline — forecasts what's likely to close, using open deals weighted by probability.
  • Funnel Analytics — measures conversion efficiency between stages and lead source quality.
  • Revenue Analytics — reports only what has already closed won, with no forecasting or open-deal data mixed in.

AI Assistant

Revenue Analytics has a built-in AI Assistant, opened from the tab on the right edge of the screen. It receives the same aggregate snapshot shown on screen for the selected interval — total revenue, average deal size, win rate, the monthly trend, and the revenue-by-stage breakdown — as structured context, and answers in Markdown.

Revenue Health

Ask how healthy revenue looks for the selected period.

Win Rate

Ask whether the current win rate is healthy or a cause for concern.

Trend Review

Ask what the monthly revenue trend shows — growth, decline, or seasonality.

Stage Concentration

Ask whether revenue is overly concentrated in a single stage or segment.

Any assistant reply can be saved as a report via Save as Report, and relevant Knowledge Base sources can be attached with Add Knowledge before asking. The assistant's AI backend follows the Writer Engine setting in Settings → Agentic — Ollama and other local/in-browser engines run entirely on your machine, never through TotalApp's servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are open or lost deals included anywhere on this screen?
No. Every KPI and chart on Revenue Analytics is scoped to Closed Won, non-quote deals only. Open deals belong on the Sales Pipeline screen and lost deals are excluded from revenue reporting entirely, since they represent no realized income.
Do converted quotes count toward Total Revenue once they close won?
Yes. Once a quote is converted to a deal via Convert Quote to Deal on the Deals & Quotes screen and later closes Closed Won, it is a standard deal (isQuote cleared) and counts fully toward Total Revenue and every other KPI here, just like any deal that started as a deal.
How does the time range filter interact with the Revenue Trend chart?
Selecting This Year, This Quarter, or This Month re-scopes both the KPI cards and the Revenue Trend chart to only deals with a close date inside that window, so the trend line always reflects the same population of deals as the headline numbers above it.
