Brand Identity

Build and manage your brand's visual identity — logos, colour palettes, typography, and style guides.

Overview

Brand Identity is a workspace for defining and maintaining your organization's visual identity. Set your primary and secondary colours, upload logos, choose typography, and generate a brand style guide PDF — all from one screen.

Setting Up Your Brand

  1. Go to Creator → Brand Identity.
  2. Click New Brand Profile (or edit an existing one).
  3. Enter your brand name and tagline.
  4. Upload your logo in SVG or PNG format (transparent background recommended).
  5. Set your primary colour using the colour picker or a hex code.
  6. Set 2–3 additional brand colours for secondary use.
  7. Choose a heading font and a body font from the available Google Fonts library.
  8. Click Save.

Colour Palette

The colour palette section lets you define:

  • Primary — main brand colour (CTAs, headlines)
  • Secondary — supporting accent colour
  • Background — default page/section background
  • Text — default body text colour
  • Tints — auto-generated 10%, 20%, 50% tints of primary and secondary

Style Guide Export

Click Export Style Guide to generate a PDF containing:

  • Logo usage guidelines (on light and dark backgrounds)
  • Full colour palette with hex, RGB, and CMYK values
  • Typography specimens for all heading levels and body text
  • Spacing and grid reference
  • Do/Don't examples for logo usage

Frequently Asked Questions

What logo file formats are supported for upload?
Brand Identity accepts SVG and PNG uploads. SVG is recommended for scalable, crisp rendering in the exported style guide, while PNG should use a transparent background so the logo displays correctly on both light and dark surfaces in the "Do/Don't" usage examples.
How many brand colours can I define besides the primary colour?
You can set a Primary colour plus 2–3 additional Secondary colours. Beyond that, the system also defines Background and Text colours, and automatically generates 10%, 20%, and 50% tints of your Primary and Secondary colours for use across the palette.
Can I maintain more than one brand profile?
Yes. Use New Brand Profile to create additional profiles — useful for agencies managing multiple client brands or businesses with sub-brands. Each profile stores its own logo, colour palette, and typography choices independently, and you can switch between them or edit any existing profile at any time.
What exactly is included in the exported Style Guide PDF?
The exported PDF includes logo usage guidelines on both light and dark backgrounds, the full colour palette with hex, RGB, and CMYK values, typography specimens for all heading levels and body text, a spacing and grid reference, and Do/Don't examples showing correct and incorrect logo usage.
