What are Banners?

The Banners tool lets you design display advertising banners directly within TotalApp. Choose from standard IAB banner sizes, customize your design, and export ready-to-use banner files for your ad campaigns.

Go to Ads & Social Media → Banners
Click New Banner and select a size

Frequently Asked Questions

Which banner size should I choose for my campaign?

It depends on the placement. Use the Medium Rectangle (300 × 250 px) for general-purpose in-content placements since it's supported by nearly every ad network. Use the Leaderboard (728 × 90 px) for top-of-page desktop placements, the Wide Skyscraper (160 × 600 px) or Half Page (300 × 600 px) for sidebar placements, the Billboard (970 × 250 px) for premium above-the-fold spots, and the Mobile Banner (320 × 50 px) for mobile web and in-app ads. You can also use Batch Export to generate all sizes from a single design in one click.

Can I export animated banners, or only static images?

Both. The Banners tool supports animation for HTML5 banners in addition to static exports. Design your banner with animated elements (text reveals, image transitions, CTA pulses), then export as HTML5 to preserve the motion. If you only need a static creative, export directly to PNG or JPG instead.

Will my banner match my brand's colors and fonts automatically?

Yes. The editor lets you apply your saved brand color and font presets to any banner with a single click, so every banner you create stays visually consistent with your other marketing materials. You can still override individual elements manually if a specific campaign needs a different look.

Can I create the same banner in multiple sizes without redoing the design?

Yes. Design your banner once, then use Batch Export to generate all supported IAB sizes at the same time. The editor intelligently repositions your background, images, text, and CTA to fit each size's aspect ratio, so you don't need to manually rebuild the layout for every dimension.
